Do you only work with people who are diagnosed with cancer or chronic illness?

No! In addition to working with individuals diagnosed with cancer and/or chronic illness, I also enjoy supporting their caregivers and medical professionals. In addition to this work, I have specialized training from Postpartum Support International to support individuals contemplating expanding their families, struggling with infertility, as well as the perinatal and postpartum periods. My sweet spot is working at the intersection of parenthood and chronic illness.

Do you take insurance?

The short answer is no - not directly. The good news is that depending on your health insurance plan, you may be entitled to reimbursement through OON (“out-of-network”) benefits. To find out about coverage through your plan, call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask:

• Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services provided via telehealth?

• What is my yearly deductible? Has it been met?

• What is the maximum reimbursement amount for the year?

• How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?

• How much does my insurance plan reimburse for an out-of-network provider?

You can also pay with a Flexible Spending Account credit/debit.

How much does this cost?

My fee is $170 per session. Sessions are 55 minutes long. I also have a limited number of sliding scale slots available.

How long does therapy last?

The duration of our work together is flexible and different for each individual’s needs. Therapy could be short term over a few months or long term over a few years and ultimately it’s something that we will routinely check in about and reassess at your discretion.

How do we meet?

I use a secure virtual platform called Therapy Notes to meet with clients. I am licensed in both Massachusetts and Maine, so I can see clients virtually who are located in either state. I see clients Monday - Thursday between 9am and 4pm.
